In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing production processes to ensure efficient and cost-effective manufacturing. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and develop and implement solutions to increase productivity, reduce costs, and improve product quality.Process EngineerYour ProfileBachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.5+ years of experience in process engineering, including experience with process design, optimization, and troubleshooting. Metallurgical process highly preferred.Strong understanding of process control principles, including experience with statistical process control.Experience with data analysis and statistical modeling tools, such as JMP or Minitab.Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to identify and implement solution to production challenges.Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.Ability to work independently and in a team environment.Experience in the Metal Recycling industry is a plus.Special SkillsMust exhibit a leader-coach mentality and act as a change agent with a team-oriented focus.Must be able to demonstrate being a key leader within cultural change.Ability to comprehend complex problems.Effectively communicate targets and goals to his/her team.Ability to receive and give constructive feedback.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Ability to keep a cool head even in stressful situations.
