This is a great chance to join a Top Employer and contribute to our growth and success.What you will doThe Process Engineer will implement World Class Manufacturing (WCM) projects, production and processing methods and controls to meet customer-based quality standard in a manner consistent with CertainTeed Gypsum Vision, Mission, Values and Objectives (VMVO). Utilizing WCM principles, this position will focus on product formulation, process development and optimization, equipment design and optimization, general project engineering, and trial planning and execution. The Process Engineer* II will also assist with Process Innovation through close collaboration with CertainTeed and Saint-Gobain support groups. Through the application of process engineering fundamentals and advances process control tools, this position will ensure that processes are centered, capable and in control; reduce process variations; and resolve special causes variation. IS THIS JOB FOR YOU?What makes you stand out from the crowd?Reports to the QPC Manager and supports manufacturing goals through process optimization and project execution.Analyzes process and product variations using advanced statistical tools; identifies root causes and implements corrective actions.Designs, develops, and revises process systems to improve efficiency, profitability, and product quality.Leads and supports process improvement initiatives, including automation, troubleshooting, and cross-functional collaboration.Participates in equipment trials and commissioning, evaluating raw materials, systems, and ROI opportunities.Ensures safety, quality, and reliability standards are embedded in all process and equipment solutions, aligned with WCM principles.Collaborates with consultants, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure system compatibility and continuous improvement.Provides training and technical support to operators and maintenance personnel to ensure effective implementation and sustainability.Supports capital planning and business plan execution, including project initiation, planning, and delivery.Promotes environmental compliance, 5S practices, and behavioral safety initiatives, contributing to a safe and sustainable workplace.TO MAKE SURE NOTHING IS FORGOTTENCertainteed, a proud subsidiary of Saint-Gobain, stands tall as part of the world's largest building materials company.
