Do you enjoy combining hands-on lab work with team leadership?If you’re looking for a dynamic role where you can make an impact on product quality and collaborate globally, this might be the perfect opportunity for you.This is why you want to join us as Process Supervisor PHCR at Enza ZadenA unique mix of practical lab work and team coordination.Opportunity to work on post-harvest quality projects that influence global markets.Collaborate with international colleagues and contribute to continuous process improvements.Make a difference as Process Supervisor PHCRIn This Role, You WillPlan and execute post-harvest (lab) research projects, including shelf-life and sensory tests.Lead and coach a small team of 1 lab technician and seasonal workers.Perform hands-on lab work, following strict protocols and safety standards.Organize and oversee taste panels for crops like tomatoes and peppers.Manage and interpret data, ensuring accurate recording and reporting.Contribute to process optimization and implementation of new methods.You’ll be based in Enkhuizen but part of a global team and therefore also interacting with Post Harvest colleagues in Spain and the US.What you bring as a future colleagueA practical, hands-on mindset with strong organizational skills.Experience in a lab environment (3–5 years preferred), ideally in post-harvest or sensory research.Ability to plan, prioritize, and manage multiple projects.Strong communication and people skills to lead and motivate your team.Accuracy and attention to detail in both lab work and data handling.Affinity with data analysis and basic statistical principles.Proficiency in English (and Dutch is a plus).This role is perfect for someone who enjoys variety, takes initiative, and thrives in a collaborative environment.Enza Zaden as your employerWith more than 3,000 passionate team members across the world, we're on a daily mission to develop the finest vegetable varieties.
