We aren't the biggest Title company but we sure are the best.Day to Day Job ResponsibilitiesSeeking Experienced Escrow Officer for a fast-paced company in Virginia. Must have 5+ Years Title Experience!Receive files from settlement, and immediately review all documents, ensuring that they are properly signed and notarized. Obtain missing information and/or correct inaccuracies as appropriateVerify all funds have been received from all sourcesEnsure compliance with lender’s instructionsAct as a neutral liaison between file parties, adhere to company policy, and monitor and mitigate risk to the companyUnderstand the title process to determine what steps need to be taken to transfer the title of property pursuant to the conditions called for in the real estate contract and lender instructionsCollaborate to resolve title issues such as legal descriptions, easements, lot splits, vesting, all tax liens, abstracts of judgments, bankruptcies, boundary disputes, encroachments, list pendants, etc.Prepare all closing documents necessary to ensure title insurance is issued at closingSecure all documents (corrective and others) that may be required for the issuance of title insurancePrior to disbursement, confirm all funds are collected, all appropriate documents are checked for accuracy, signatures are collected, and acknowledgments and legal descriptions are correctExperienceMust have relevant work experience in the title/settlement industry (Not Mortgage)Must have experience in Virginia.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; demonstrated ability to liaise with high-profile clientsHigh level of attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environmentMust possess and demonstrate a sense of urgency and handle the high volume of the fastest growing title company in the countryBenefitsA highly competitive salaryBenefit package including Medical/Dental/Vision,Paid Time Off401k and moreCommission on all business brought in (uncapped)Job Type: Full-time
