Who are we looking for?We are currently looking for a highly experienced and disciplined Procurement and Logistics Officer to join our team in Brisbane, QLD. If you’re a proactive, flexible and experienced professional with a drive to succeed, you’re the type of person we would like to welcome onboard.Your roleIn This Role, Your Key Responsibilities Will IncludeCollaborate with Group maintenance planners for effective materials planning.Develop and manage procurement policies and supplier relationships.Source cost-effective aviation spare parts.Manage inventory of aviation parts (consumables, rotables, components) across all locations.Establish and oversee cost-effective logistics and freight contracts.Manage rotable components, including tracking, repairs, and overhauls.Perform other duties as directed by the manager.The essential requirementsDegree in Business Management or Supply ChainExperienced aviation logistics backgroundIn-depth knowledge of supply chain techniquesHigh level computer skillsOutstanding communication (written and oral) with ability to work effectively across geographic and cultural boundariesAdditional qualificationsWe are specifically looking for candidates capable of committing to flexible working arrangements; further, please ensure that you are available to work in Brisbane before applying.What's in it for you?RoleAt Sigma, we place our people at the heart of everything we do.
