Job Description

Taylor Hopkinson is working with a leading international renewable energy company to recruit a Project Procurement Business Partner.The role will be based in Bogotá, Colombia, focusing primarily on utility-scale renewable energy projects in Colombia, while also supporting projects across other South American markets and Spain. This position is central to connecting global procurement and supply chain strategy with local project execution and requires willingness to travel internationally.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and coordinate procurement activities for assigned renewable energy projects (solar PV, energy storage, wind) across Colombia and other international locations.Support projects throughout the full lifecycle, from pre-bid and development phases through construction and material delivery.Define and implement project procurement strategies, including sourcing approach, package structuring, and risk management.Execute end-to-end procurement processes: tendering, negotiation, contracting, expediting, and delivery follow-up.Drive cost optimization initiatives while ensuring quality, compliance, and on-time delivery of equipment and services.Identify and manage procurement and supply chain risks related to market conditions, logistics, contracts, customs, and local regulations.Work closely with internal stakeholders such as project management, engineering, legal, and cost control teams to ensure aligned execution.RequirementsBachelor’s degree or higher in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, International Trade, or a related field.Experience in project procurement or supply chain roles within renewable energy projects.Familiarity with EPC/FIDIC contracts, Incoterms, and international supply chain practices.Fluent English is required.Willingness and ability to travel frequently across South America and to Spain.
