Job Description

Title: Regional Supply Chain CoordinatorLocation: Remote in Brazil, Colombia, or GuatemalaTravel: Regional Travel Required - up to 25% expectedGeneral DescriptionThe Regional Supply Chain Coordinator is responsible for coordination of the procurement process within a designated region, to support team efforts that all goods and services are acquired efficiently, cost-effectively, and in alignment with the organization’s standards and policies. This role involves working with preferred suppliers and other key stakeholders to track items from procurement to receipt. The Coordinator will collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their needs and determine suitable suppliers and gather information to support decision making on procurement.Essential FunctionsConduct inventory checks for each country within assigned region. Support with inventory system deployment as requested. Manage country-level and regional procurement activities. Work closely with regional Program Operations Coordinators, Regional Medical Officers (RMOs), and regional teams to meet supply needs. Support regional countries with equipment procurement under the Operation 100 Initiative, ensuring proper coordination and effective processes are followed. Ensure supply chain operations run smoothly for the region. Manage vendor relationships, work with third-party logistics companies, and support supplier negotiations. QualificationsCore Competencies Needed: Project Management - The ability to plan, organize, execute, and oversee projects from inception to completion. Defining project goals, creating detailed plans, managing resources, budgets, and timelines, and ensuring that tasks are completed to meet objectives and deliverables. Technical Expertise & Problem Solving - Demonstrates strong analytical thinking and the ability to apply technical knowledge to identify issues, evaluate options, and implement effective solutions. Uses sound judgment and a methodical approach to resolve complex problems, improve systems, and ensure reliable operations. Analytical Skills - Ability to parse and interpret data or information to develop creative, rational solutions. Strategic Thinking - The ability to analyze complex situations, anticipate future trends, and formulate effective plans and decisions to achieve long-term goals or desired outcomes. Cross-Functional Collaboration - The ability to successfully build & maintain collaborative relationships to work effectively together as a team through shared responsibility, respect, & empathy to complete a shared goal for a common good. Job Qualifications And Skills RequiredDegree in Supply Chain, Business, Logistics or other related field. 3+ years of experience in Supply Chain and Logistics, preferably in a regional or multi-country environment. Experience coordinating inventory, shipments, and logistics across multiple locations. Working knowledge of supply chain systems (ERP, inventory management tools, or logistics platforms). Demonstrated ability to collaborate across functions, cultures, and time zones. Experience supporting operations in low-resource or complex operating environments.
