Job Summary:The Packaging Procurement Manager will be responsible for developing and executing the procurement strategy for all packaging materials. This role involves category management, strategic sourcing, contracting, and supplier management, ensuring alignment with the overall Global Non-Fish strategy. The manager will track procurement performance against critical KPIs, generate insights, and propose improvements to enhance procurement efficiency and effectiveness.Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Direction:Develop and implement the procurement strategy for packaging in alignment with the Global Non-Fish strategy.Track procurement performance against critical KPIs, generate insights, and recommend changes to the procurement strategy or improvement initiatives.Best-in-Class Procurement Standards and Programs:Drive the implementation of Thai Union SOPs for procurement processes, policies, and systems.Recommend adaptations to standards to ensure operational feasibility.End-to-End Category Management, Strategic Sourcing, and Supplier Management:Collaborate with plant purchasing teams and BU end-users to understand and document sourcing needs and priorities.Consolidate category demand globally/regionally to drive economies of scale and maximize market competition.Monitor the supplier pipeline, identify potential suppliers, and issue RFI, RFP, RFQ as appropriate.Develop sourcing plans, including timelines and order allocations.Gather market intelligence on supply trends and regulatory changes, adapting sourcing plans as needed.Define comprehensive supplier selection criteria and evaluate competitive bids.Incorporate procurement standards and specifications into supplier audits.Perform regular evaluations of supplier performance and implement corrective actions.Contract Management and Governance:Translate end-user requirements into contractual KPIs/SLAs.Negotiate and customize contracts, consulting with Group Contract Management and Legal teams as needed.Monitor contractual milestones and take appropriate actions (renewal, termination, etc.).Responsible Sourcing:Implement Group Responsible Sourcing policies and standards.Track and report on responsible sourcing KPIs, taking corrective actions as required.Key RequirementsBachelor Degree in Business administration, business related or MBAAt least 10 years experiences in Category managementAbility for problem solving and decision-making.High level of integrity, flexibility, and teamwork.Good command of English and Thai.High attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, ability to work on multiple projects.Excellent interpersonal and verbal communications skills.
