Procurement Engineer

Job Title: Procurement Engineer – Construction (Landscaping & Infrastructure)We are looking for a skilled Procurement Engineer with strong construction experience, especially in landscaping and infrastructure projects, to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for cost estimation, BOQ preparation, supplier sourcing, and procurement coordination across projects.Key Responsibilities1. Prepare cost estimates and BOQs for landscaping and infrastructure works (softscape, hardscape, irrigation, utilities, and external works).2. Perform quantity take-offs from drawings and project specifications.3. Review and analyze tender documents, identify scope gaps, and prepare technical and commercial clarifications.4. Support the Procurement Department in preparing RFQs and bid packages.5. Source, evaluate, and compare supplier and subcontractor quotations.6. Negotiate prices, terms, and delivery schedules with vendors.7. Coordinate with project, engineering, and procurement teams on commercial and technical matters.8. Prepare rate analysis and cost breakdowns.9. Maintain vendor database and ensure compliance with company procurement procedures.Qualifications & Requirements1. Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or quantity surveying.2. Minimum 5 years of experience in construction procurement, preferably in landscaping and infrastructure projects.3. UAE experiences preferred.4. Strong understanding of landscaping and infrastructure scopes and materials.5. Proven experience in estimation, measurement, and rate analysis.6. Advanced skills in Excel and BOQ preparation.7. Strong analytical and negotiation skills.8. Good communication and coordination abilities.
