Job Description

Scrap Disposal Management:Oversee the end-to-end process of scrap material disposal across all company sites.Work in coordination with operations and warehouse teams.Ensure environmentally responsible and compliant disposal practices.Value Recovery:Identify and engage with certified scrap buyers and recyclersConduct bid analysis to determine optimal pricing and timing for scrap sales.Negotiate contracts and terms to maximize financial returns from scrap.Compliance & Documentation:Maintain accurate records of scrap transactionsEnsure compliance with local regulations, company policies, and audit requirements.Prepare reports on scrap sales, trends, and value recovery metrics.Cross-functional Collaboration:Work closely with operations, finance, and logisticsSupport internal auditsRequirements:Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field3 years of experience in procurement, waste management, or scrap disposalStrong negotiation and analytical skillsKnowledge of scrap material markets and recycling regulations.Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.Experienced in Marine Offshore or Heavy Industries will be an added advantage.Location(s):Seatrium (SG) Pte.
