About the roleThis Commercial and Procurement team is evolving to introduce a robust end-to-end category management capability. This includes Contract and Procurement Managers, Tender Compliance Specialists, and Category Managers who will enable a more efficient, data-driven, and results-focused way of working. This role is for an experienced Senior Procurement and Contracts Manager to join the Professional Services Category team and play a key role in shaping this transformation.What You'll DoDevelop and manage sourcing strategies for Professional Services, including consultancy, recruitment, and training.Produce compliant sourcing plans and contract awards under Public Contracts Regulations and the Procurement Act 2023.Manage supplier performance and risk, ensuring contracts deliver against transformation objectives.Support the creation of multi-year category plans Act as a trusted partner to stakeholders, ensuring proactive engagement and timely resolution of issues.Deputise for the Contract and Procurement Manager when required.About YouStrong knowledge of public procurement legislation and sourcing methodologies.Hands-on experience managing complex procurements within Professional Services.Familiarity with procurement tools, databases, and Microsoft 365/SharePoint.Excellent communication skills and ability to work flexibly in a fast-paced environment.Passion for transformation and delivering best-in-class procurement outcomes.
