Procurement Specialist

Due to rapid expansion, our client is seeking a talented Procurement professional to strengthen their Client Services team. You will spearhead procurement workstreams for new Early Payment projects while supporting their existing client portfolio to unlock further growth opportunities. The role will specialise in working with public sector clients.This role offers the perfect blend of utilising your procurement expertise while developing valuable project management skills in a fast-paced, innovative environment.The role will entail:Leading Local Authority clients through comprehensive project implementations, transforming their procurement activitiesDrive the sourcing/procurement workstream as part of our dynamic project delivery teamPartner with clients to seamlessly integrate early payment solutions into tender evaluations and procurement documentationChampion change across client organizations, building buy-in from Procurement teams and multiple departmentsProvide expert guidance on complex tender queries, crafting innovative solutions that maximise client benefitsSupport the development and execution of strategic internal projectsApplicants must have:Previous procurement and procurement contract experience, ideally within Local Government or Public Sector environmentOutstanding presentation and communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levelsStrong problem-solving capabilities and a solutions-focused mindsEnthusiasm for driving change and implementing innovative solutionsAbility to manage multiple client relationships and project workstreams simultaneouslyKatie Bard is acting as an agency and is an equal opportunities employer
