Siemens Mobility Rail Infrastructure business supplies the global markets of rail and road-bound transport with innovative products and solutions for Rail Automation, Rail Electrification and in the area of intermodal mobility, apps and backend systems.Your Role – Impactful, Meaningful And Future-OrientedProcurement Responsibilities:Lead procurement activities across bids and projects, ensuring alignment with business goals and timelinesServe as the primary interface between procurement and key business partners for customer bids or projects, including milestone meetings, risk workshops, kick-off meetings, procurement reviews, and escalationsAlign project schedules with procurement-specific timelines for RFQs, negotiations, supplier selection, and deliveriesEnsure alignment of terms and conditions, and transfer relevant customer contract clauses to supplier offers and contractsAnalyze procurement and supplier-related risks, and implement appropriate mitigation measuresDrive procurement strategies within projects and ensures their implementation of KPIs like CNI, CTG, E Bidding / Auction and PTESupport in getting the best rates during the execution phase.Develop and actively drive local sourcing strategies, supplier performance, and supplier managementOwn, monitor, and drives utilization of the consolidated Procurement Plan and Procurement Statement, including Supplier/RFQ/offer status per purchasing item, Selected suppliers and Risk tableLogistics Responsibilities:Define and monitor logistics KPIs; analyze results and drive strategic initiatives for continuous improvementOversee logistics planning, execution, and reporting, ensuring alignment with overall business strategyOwn and manage the logistics budget, identifying cost-saving opportunities and ensuring efficient resource allocationManage vendor relationships, including contract negotiations and conflict resolutionBuild and maintain customer-focused logistics operations to meet customer expectationsCollaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with to logistics policies and standardsRepresent the logistics function in audits and regulatory reviewsLead cross-functional projects and improvement programs, including digitalization and automation initiativesMentor and develop logistics team members, fostering a culture of continuous learningYour Qualifications And Skills – Digital And SolidAt least a bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.Minimum 5–7 years of experience in procurement and logistics, preferably within the engineering industryProven track record in managing complex and large-scale projectsAbility to manage multiple priorities and deadlinesExcellent command of English, both written and spokenEffective communicator with strategic thinking skills, able to engage stakeholders at multiple levelsAbility to derive insights from data: skilled in preparing analytical reports and presenting information clearly and conciselyProficient in MS Office applicationsExperience in SAP preferred.What We OfferFlexible working arrangementsCareer, professional & personal developmentMake your mark in our exciting world at Siemens.Contract Type: 24 months contract (extendable depending on project requirements)We support a diverse workforce.Siemens is a proud equal opportunity employer, creating a work environment of diversity and inclusion.
