Procurement Manager

Our client is one of the leading companies when it comes to the manufacturing industry. Due to expansion plans, they are currently looking for a Procurement Manager to join their growing company. This role will be based in Selangor.Key Responsibilities:Strategic Sourcing & PlanningDevelop procurement strategies aligned with business objectives and cost-saving targets.Conduct market analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.Prepare and maintain yearly or quarterly procurement plans and coordinate with other departments for demand planning.Supplier ManagementIdentify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, cost, and delivery.Build and maintain strong vendor relationships; conduct supplier performance reviews.Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to secure favorable agreements.Procurement OperationsOversee the full procurement lifecycle: RFQ, RFP, PO issuance, contract management.Ensure timely delivery of goods/services and follow-up coordination with suppliers and internal teams.Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with operations to optimize stock levels.Skills & Experience Required:Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field.Minimum 5–8 years of procurement experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.Strong negotiation, contract management, and vendor management skills.Analytical with experience in cost analysis and procurement metrics.Familiarity with ERP and e-procurement platforms (e.g., SAP, Oracle).To apply, please click “APPLY NOW” or email Damini Sivasamy at damini.sivasamy@ambition.com.my.
