Main Purpose of the role:Deliver an effective Category Management model and methodology, working with stakeholders across the business.Ensure all contractual requirements for Framework and Preferred suppliers are in place. This could potentially scope both Compliance and (Hard and Soft) FM suppliers. Oversee the end-to-end management of suppliers to mitigate risk, measure performance and implement continuous improvement targets into the upstream supply chain. Direct, supervise and mentor a team that delivers a professional supply chain service to our clients. Oversee and provide guidance to the buying team where necessary throughout the end-to-end tendering process. Main Responsibilities:Develop, implement and continuously improve the service proposition for an effective third-party supply chain. Identify and deliver supply chain strategies that support business growth through collaborative work with suppliers, stakeholders and the procurement team. Look for ways to continuously improve the procurement systems, processes and procedures. Role model. Understand the Innovus values and manage behaviour accordingly.Been seen as a trusted advisor on any aspect of the supply chain, specifically in the areas of category and supply chain risk management.Provide analytical insight using both historical and forecast data. This may include keeping abreast of the commodity markets regarding price trends and opportunities for company growth.Oversee the management of suppliers to ensure ongoing compliance of internal and external standards is maintained.Take ownership of the month end reporting process.Chair cross functional meeting with stakeholders and suppliers.Liaise with other workstreams e.g. Legal, Health & Safety and Operations, to ensure a robust commercial framework is in place with all necessary SLAs/KPIs to mitigate any risk to the business.Conduct procurement activity in accordance with Emeria Group procedures, Health & Safety, compliance, regulatory, and ESG policies, etc.Support the Head of Procurement with the implementation of the Vision, objectives, and strategy for the Procurement function.Demonstrate strong thought leadership in Procurement and Supply Chain, encouraging others to consider innovative alternatives that contribute to business growth.A strong communicator who can influence stakeholders, able to share clear and compelling communication strategies to ensure that external and internal customers are positively engaged.Qualifications:Hold or studying towards MCIPS Level 4,5 or 6 or an equivalent degree in a business discipline.Experience:Essential: Ability to operate at both an operational and strategic level. Has experience of category management and can develop category strategies, manage sourcing events, contract and supplier relationship management.Has experience of managing / supporting communications across multiple business functions / stakeholders.Adept at conducting negotiations with suppliers to determine the required contract terms and to achieve the best outcome for the business.Analytical Skills. Able to manipulate and present data.A track record of developing and maintaining strong senior stakeholder and supplier relationships.Innovation – thinks of and/or encourages new ideas and is keen to experiment and see new ideas implemented. Desirable: 1-3 years procurement management experience within a similar market.Knowledge of P2P processesOther skills:Presentation / communication skills Wider thinking – consider the wider picture, identifying patterns and connections between issues/situations that are not obviously related.
