JOB DESCRIPTION Job Title: Procurement Officer Business Unit: Procurement Collaboration: All Departments Reports To: Procurement Manager Industry: FMCG Location: IbadanSalary: #200,000 - #250,000 Cognate Experience: 3-4years Job PurposeComplete Procurement Activity, PR Preparation, getting quotation from vendor, uploading quotation in system to get approval from line manager, Converting PR to PO, GRN coordination to the company store after receiving materials, files upload in system related to store after receiving materials, files upload in system related to P.O payment follow up with Finance. Responsibilities·        Required to perform the duties assigned by the Company and report to the Procurement Manager of the Company.·        Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors, subcontractors, and suppliers.·        Track and schedule all materials, equipment, and personnel purchase orders.·        Open new account when needed.·        Track inventory levels and manage purchasing activities.·        Develop and maintain inventory control procedures.·        Review supplier’s proposals and invoices.·        Discuss and analyses material and equipment need with architects and engineers.·        Attend Vendor meetings if required.·        Understand spare parts local market & OEM market.·        Supplier management.·        Coordinate with staff, operations, and outside agencies to ensure materials, equipment, and services are available when needed.·        Knowledge about NAFDAC, PAAR, SONCAP, Form M & Custom clearance Competence & Skills Required·        Strong organizational skills.·        Excellent Customer Service·        Creative Problem-solving skills.·        Knowledge of procurement process.·        Negotiation skills.·        Coaching Skills·        Market Knowledge·        Ability to Multitask·        Excellent Analytical skills ·        Coordination skills with end users and contractors.
