You will play an important role in GBT’s travel supply distribution platform working with a dedicated Data Scientist and cross-functional teams to support the business to improve its experimentation capabilities. This position will be part of the Product & Technology group within the Supply MarketPlace Platform team.What You'll Be Doing: Experimentation Support and InsightsConduct pre-experiment analysis and support the business in designing impactful experiments aligned with strategic objectivesPartner with the business to formulate testable hypothesis for experimentsConduct post-experiment deep dives and generate insights beyond simple statistical significance testing with actional recommendationsIdentify trends and patterns across experiments to surface broad insights and optimization opportunitiesSupport consistency in test design and implementation, and interpretation of resultsDrive improvements in experimentation methodologies and processes by analyzing overarching trendsMetrics Definition & GovernanceWork closely with the business to define and refine key metrics that align with strategic goalsWork with partner teams across to ensure results are interpreted consistently and correctlyData Visualization and Dashboard ManagementBuild and maintain scalable self-serve dashboards to track experiment performance in real timeAutomate experiment reporting, reducing manual effort and ensuring easy accessibility of insights at scaleWhat We're Looking For: At least 3 Years data analysis experience ideally in A/B Testing and experimentationProven experience defining and working with product and business metrics Experience working with Tableau, building and managing dashboards is a mustStrong command of SQL for data querying, and proficiency in Python for statistical analysis and modelingExperience in working with Hive, Hadoop, and Product analytics tools is a mustHands-on experience analyzing large amounts of data to derive actionable insightsGood communication and partnership skills with technology, product strategy, and data teamsSelf-starter and autonomous; work with a distributed team and demonstrate a strong sense of ownershipAbility to understand business problems and translate data-driven insights into actionable business strategiesSolid understanding of statistical concepts, including hypothesis testing, confidence intervals, and experimental designDegree in a quantitative discipline, such as statistics, mathematics, operations research, economics, engineering or information scienceExperience in travel industry is an advantage #GBTjobsLocationPolandThe #TeamGBT ExperienceWork and life: Find your happy medium at Amex GBT.Flexible benefits are tailored to each country and start the day you do.
