Key Responsibilities User research, concept generation, prototyping, validation of concept etc. by applying ‘Design Thinking’ process for ‘Industrial Design’. User workspace design for defence systems/equipment Design for human factors (ergonomics) Packaging and layout of defence systems/equipment Design for assembly, manufacturing and maintenance Development of soft model and mock-ups for concept evaluation and refinement Coordination with Engineering teams for concept optimization and detailing User experience design (user interface design) & Collaboration with software teams for implementation of the User Interface Key Skills Creative Problem solving and conceptualization Good sketching and product visualization skills Proficient in 3D modelling and realistic rendering software tools Proficiency in image editing and graphic design software Knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes
