The RoleeuNetworks is looking for a skilled and experienced Product Director to develop and lead euNetworks’ Infrastructure strategy including product performance, customer experience and commercial success.You will lead a team of 1-3 Product Managers, benefiting from the support of a Data Analyst and Product Marketing Manager. You will have ownership of specific products including Long-haul Fibre (inc. ILAs), Metro Fibre, Colocation & Edge.What will you be doing?Commercial successDeliver performance against budget with sustainable revenue growth, high margins and increasing market share.Develop and underpin future performance forecasts with a clear strategy, new-product roadmap, operational plan and active risk management plan.Work with Sales and Infrastructure Investment to identify network growth opportunities, build business cases and deliver the intended benefit.Own reduction in cost base and improvement of process speed and efficiency through analysis and optimisation, without sacrificing quality or value. Product excellenceDrive continuous innovation and adapt products and propositions according to market dynamics, market opportunities and customer needs.Monitor evolving conditions and forecast market trends, leveraging your knowledge of emerging technologies to stay ahead of the curve in the rollout of new solutions.Own the continuous improvement of product performance (i.e. the overall effectiveness in delivering intended benefits) and customer journey throughout the product life cycle.Drive customer loyalty and brand recognition through excellence in product delivery, performance, availability and customer experience. Sales executionSupport Marketing, Sales Enablement and Product Marketing with confident leadership and articulation of: go-to-market strategy, thought leadership, PR, training, collateral and competitive intelligence. Team managementBe a great manager, leader and mentor of your direct reports. Invest in their professional development to create a high-performing team of skilled, motivated and empowered individuals.What do we want from you? Technical knowledgeHigh level technical understanding of photonic and transponder layers, colocation and fibre.Good understanding of business and financial KPIs and being comfortable in applying these to decision making.Experience in business modelling and business case development, taking proposals through all stages from feasibility to financial approval and market launch.Familiarity with the Telecom infrastructure market, key players and trends, to help guide the competitive positioning of our propositions. Qualifications/ExperienceExperience with following product life cycle and best practices.Commercial experience in the Telecoms, Hosting or Outsource IT industries.Experience working directly with sales teams – providing commercial leadership and market support.Experience working directly with operations and engineering teams as an internal customer – providing clear product requirements and prioritisation to the organisation.
