Job Description

The Product Manager executes and aligns the product strategy and roadmap in collaboration with the Group Product Manager. This role manages the product life cycle, coordinates with internal teams, and delivers priority items. They envision, guide, and communicate the strategy and roadmap, acting as a bridge between internal teams and external stakeholders to shape product direction. Responsibilities include managing the product life cycle, identifying features and enhancements, and prioritising them into an actionable plan. The Product Manager contributes to product strategy and roadmap decisions, working with customers and stakeholders to identify problems worth solving and define solutions that deliver measurable business outcomes.Key ResponsibilitiesSupporting the Group Product Manager with the product vision. This includes communicating with stakeholders to understand business objectives and supporting the ongoing iteration of our product roadmapProvide information to help with prioritising needs through the consideration of stakeholders' objectives and the time/cost/budget constraints for each function or featurePrioritises product initiatives and features by synthesising customer feedback, market insights, and business objectivesFacilitates agile ceremonies including sprint planning, refinement, and reviews, ensuring the team has clear priorities, context, and success criteria for each sprintAnticipating client needs using your knowledge of the market, industry trends and customer journey and story mapsCollaborates across Operations, Engineering, and other functions to align on priorities, trade-offs, and delivery approach, ensuring shared understanding of product goals and customer impactEngages directly with customers to gather insights, validate problems, and test solutions, actively seeking customer feedback and product usage data to inform product decisions and build stakeholder alignmentEvaluate product progress through each iteration and determine whether the final solution is acceptable (usable, valuable, viable)Produces release notes and product documentation that enable Operations, Support, and other teams to effectively communicate changes, troubleshoot issues, and support customersRequirements2-3 years of product management experience, ideally in a B2B SaaS environment Demonstrated experience managing product backlogs and roadmaps using agile methodologiesProficiency with product management tools including Jira, Confluence, and Amplitude (or similar analytics platforms)Proven ability to facilitate agile ceremonies (sprint planning, refinement, reviews) and work effectively with engineering teamsStrong stakeholder management skills with experience gathering requirements from customers and internal teamsExcellent written communication skills, including experience creating product requirements documents, release notes, and user documentationAnalytical mindset with ability to synthesise customer feedback, data insights, and business objectives into prioritised product decisionsExperience collaborating across multiple functions (engineering, operations, sales, customer success)DesirableExperience in workforce management, credentialing, compliance, or HR technology domainsKnowledge of the resources, mining, or construction sectorsExperience with customer journey mapping and user story mapping techniquesUnderstanding of API integrations and data structures (without requiring technical implementation skills)Tertiary qualification in business, technology, or related fieldLife at MyPassExtra time off – 20 days annual leave, plus 3 additional days during our Christmas shutdown, birthday leave, study leave, and volunteer leave each yearHybrid and flexible – Work from home or our CBD-based, pet-friendly officeWellbeing focus – Free subscription to the WithU health app, office yoga and pilates, and a wellbeing policy that supports what works for youLearning that works for you – $1,000 annual learning budget and access to online and in-person development opportunitiesSupport when you need it – Access to our Employee Assistance Program (EAP)We value great people – A generous referral program when you help us find new talentWe may use artificial intelligence (AI) tools to support parts of the hiring process, such as reviewing applications, analyzing resumes, or assessing responses.
