This role focuses on bridging content development with platform strategy and user engagement in order to expand the impact of our Papers and Blogs across digital, AI-powered, and future discovery channels.As PM, you will oversee the full product lifecycle for Papers and Blogs. From content development and publication with the editorial team, to content optimization and distribution with a cross-functional team, you will ensure that every piece is positioned for maximum visibility and impact across web, app, social, and email channels as well as AI tools and other emerging platforms. Success in this role requires product leadership expertise, digital fluency, and a deep understanding of how audiences discover and engage with written content. If you are passionate about Islamic scholarship and are ready to redefine how that knowledge is experienced and internalized by modern audiences, we’d love to work with you.What You'll DoTogether with the Content Products Lead, co-define and execute a clear product vision and roadmap for Papers and BlogsCollaborate with the Content Products Lead to set and refine annual goals for reach, engagement, and retention, ensuring strategies are measurable, scalable, and impact-driven.Measure product performance with quantitative metrics and qualitative insights. Use this information to track progress towards goals, find growth opportunities and guide the roadmapDrive alignment among research, marketing, design, and engineering teams in developing new content, optimize existing content, and delivering high-quality, timely product experiences on the web, app, email, social media, AI tools, and other emerging platforms.Build effective project management systems with clear milestones, regular check-ins, and workflows that promote operational efficiency. Organize the backlog and lead sprint planning to keep the team focused on the most important work.Uphold product quality by ensuring all content and promotions meet editorial, brand, and internal quality standards.Drive audience research to uncover pain points and behavior patterns. Translate findings into high-impact product enhancements and launches that boost discoverability and enhance the user experience.Run structured experiments on Papers and Blogs to optimize user experience and AI discoverability. Partner with the Content Product Lead and AI Growth & LLM Visibility Lead to develop a repeatable testing framework that can be applied to other research products.Provide regular updates on progress, challenges, and priorities to internal and external stakeholders to ensure transparency and alignment across departments.Qualifications3+ years of product management experience, ideally in digital publishing, journalism, or knowledge dissemination.Proven ability to lead and scale content products end-to-end, with measurable impact on reach, engagement, and retention.Skilled in simplifying complex ideas to make them accessible and compelling for diverse audiences.Comfortable navigating ambiguity and exploring new content discovery channels where AI acts as an intermediary.Fluency in user-centered product design, data-informed decision-making, and systems that can scale digital content experiences.Strong communicator with the ability to articulate product vision, priorities, and trade-offs to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Collaborative and team-oriented, with a track record of building trust and alignment across cross-functional teams.Deeply aligned with the mission of making Islamic research accessible, relevant, and transformative.Yaqeen Institute embraces a philosophy that values and promotes diversity.
