Role Overview:You will be part of our strategic Payments Roadmap program, which delivers a completely new payments platform through multiple projects. As Product Owner for Performance Testing, you will lead the performance testing stream and drive performance enhancement initiatives across development teams. This role requires deep technical understanding of payment systems, performance testing methodologies, and strong project leadership.Location: StockholmWorkload: 50%Seniority Level: 9+ yearsLanguage: English (CV and Matrix required in English)Key Responsibilities:Act as Product Owner for the performance testing team (2 Test Managers + 1 Test Engineer).Collaborate with architects, tech leads, and project managers to define and plan the scope of performance testing.Ensure non-functional requirements (NFRs) are captured and integrated into system design and delivery.Oversee performance testing strategy and hand over detailed execution to Test Managers.Identify system bottlenecks and coordinate performance improvement activities across teams.Manage backlog and prioritization for the performance testing team.Communicate performance status, risks, and recommendations to senior stakeholders.Required Qualifications:Strong background in transaction-heavy systems.Proven experience in performance and non-functional testing for complex, distributed platforms.Hands-on experience with performance tools such as JMeter, Gatling, LoadRunner, Dynatrace, Grafana, etc.Demonstrated success as a Project Manager in large-scale performance testing assignments.Preferred Qualifications:Experience in Agile delivery environments, ideally as a Product Owner.Deep understanding of payments systems (e.g., card, instant, SWIFT).Familiarity with cloud-native architectures (AWS, Azure, GCP).Background in DevOps, CI/CD, monitoring, and observability.Knowledge of regulatory and compliance aspects in payments.
