Largely an inward-facing role, the Product Owner is the main liaison between product marketing, product management and the engineering team. The Product Owner is an expert on the functionality of a specific product; as such, often supports other groups such as sales engineering, implementation, and technical support/customer service.More Specifically, You WillMain liaison between product management and the engineering team, understand the product strategy as defined by product managementCollect product requirements from key buyer audiences and end usersCoordinate the creation of product mockups and prototypesFulfills the "product owner role" principally responsible for prioritization and maintaining (or grooming) a backlog which maximizes outcomes aligned with the product strategy (roadmap) for one or multiple agile development teamsWrite and present the product requirements documentOversee and sign off on the functional specOversee the product as it is being built by development/engineeringCommunicate with stakeholders during the development of a product to keep them updatedCoordinate testing of a product, including user acceptance testing, alpha and beta programsCollect, coordinate, and prioritize bug fixesWhat We Need From You4+ years in related fieldExperience in B2B SaaS business analysis or product development preferredComplete understanding of the ""Product Owner"" roleAbility to balance gut feel judgement and logical analysis.
