Be part of it!Who are we looking forThe Production Assistant Technician is responsible for supporting daily production operations in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), company policies, and HSEQ (Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality) standards. This role ensures consistent product quality, operational efficiency, and workplace safety through diligent process execution, equipment operation, and continuous improvement initiatives.Key Accountabilities:1. Production OperationsCarry out all production activities in accordance with SOPs and company procedures.Follow established production instructions and processes without deviation to ensure product quality and safety.Record and report any deviations, process abnormalities, or quality issues to supervisors immediately.Operate and maintain all machines, equipment, and instruments according to SOPs.Conduct regular equipment checks to ensure smooth operation within process parameters.Perform minor troubleshooting and basic maintenance tasks.Record machine performance, downtime, and production data accurately for analysis.Maintain accurate stock records of raw materials, packaging materials, and finished goods in line with SOPs.2. Health, Safety, Environment & Quality (HSEQ)Ensure full compliance with LANXESS HSEQ procedures and requirements.Comply with all health and safety guidelines at all times.Proactively identify, report, and help mitigate workplace hazards.Participate in risk assessments, HSEQ audits, and support implementation of corrective actions.Promote a safety-first culture and maintain good housekeeping (5S) on the shopfloor.3. Equipment MaintenancePerform preventive maintenance tasks on production equipment according to schedules.Check lubrication levels, filters, and machine conditions regularly.Keep accurate maintenance logs and promptly report abnormalities or potential failures.Support scheduled preventive maintenance activities to ensure equipment reliability and extend lifespan.4. Continuous Improvement & TeamworkContribute ideas for process improvements, waste reduction, and operational efficiency.Participate in root cause analysis for quality or safety incidents.Remain flexible and adaptable to meet changing production demands.Perform cross-functional tasks as required to support team goals.Take initiative to assist colleagues and foster a positive, productive work environment.5. Other DutiesParticipate in company events, trainings, meetings, emergency drills, or assignments (e.g., Emergency Response Team, First Aider) as directed by the Production Supervisor.Carry out other duties as assigned by Production Supervisor or Manager.Qualifications & RequirementsGCE O-Level and above.
