Kiam Metal Industries Limited is looking for Production EngineerJob Description / ResponsibilityManage the section/department and ensure the production target.Supervise the production and make sure that production lines are running smoothly.Plan and coordinate production-engineering processes daily to produce high-quality products.Develop process improvements to utilize equipment and materials effectively to maximize production.Develop operational strategies to achieve production and financial objectives.Identify unsafe operations & practices and report to the management.Establish safety procedures and environmental regulations for employees.Provide engineering support for production and maintenance activities to ensure maximum production.Perform engineering analysis to reduce downtime and outages.Evaluate current production activities and make recommendations for improvements.Implement cost reduction initiatives while maintaining high-quality standards.Develop operating instructions and equipment specifications for production activities.Provides training and guidance to team members to accomplish production goals.Develop best practices to improve production capacity, quality, and reliability.Aid in budget preparation and monitor expenses and profitability.Ensure proper documentation as per the requirements of ISO 9001:2015 (QMS).Any other duties assigned by the Management from time to time.Educational RequirementsBachelor of Science (BSc) in Electrical & Electronic EngineeringBachelor of Science (BSc) in Mechanical EngineeringMaster of Science (MSc) in Electrical & Electronic EngineeringMaster of Science (MSc) in Mechanical EngineeringBachelor’s / Master’s degree in Mechanical / IPE / EEE from any public university.Experience Requirements3 to 5 year(s)The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):Manufacturing (FMCG),Manufacturing (Light Engineering and Heavy Industry),Agro based firms (incl. Agro Processing/Seed/GM),Poultry,Electronic Equipment/Home Appliances,Plastic/ Polymer Industry,Packaging Industry,Animal/Plant Breeding,HatcheryAdditional RequirementsThe applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Manufacturing (Light Engineering & Heavy) Industry, Home Appliance, FMCG, and the Group of Companies.Experience in ‘Machine Maintenance’ will be an added advantage.Should have at least 03 years’ experience in any manufacturing industry.Able to work in a team environment.Capable of working under pressure.`SMART` reporting and communication skills.Positive, self-motivated, honest, dedicated, loyal & possessing good memory.Computer literacy is a must, sound in MS-Office application, e-mail & internet.Must be self-motivated, proactive, and have a high-energy approach to problem-solving.Job LocationKushtia
