Production Store Supervisor

Key ResponsibilitiesDaily Store OperationsManage the day-to-day running of the store that supports production and site installation teamsReceive, label, store, and issue tools, materials, and consumables in an organised and timely mannerEnsure that items are neatly stored, well-labelled, and easy to accessMaintain cleanliness and proper housekeeping in the store at all timesIssuance and TrackingTrack movement of frequently used items (e.g. adhesives, blades, sealants) and update records accordinglyMaintain a manual or digital log of items issued to staff or jobsMonitor the return of reusable tools and equipmentSystem Setup & ImprovementAssist management in setting up a basic inventory tracking system (Excel, manual logs, or software)Recommend improvements to the store layout, labelling, or process to improve efficiency and accountabilityHelp establish min/max stock levels for key consumablesStock Monitoring & ReplenishmentConduct periodic stock checks and highlight low-stock itemsPrepare purchase requests for commonly used materials and tools in advanceLiaise with Procurement or Purchasing staff to ensure timely restockingTool Care & ReportingCheck and report damaged or missing toolsEnsure proper storage and handling of equipment to minimise loss or misuseKeep a record of high-value tools checked out to individuals or teamsRequirementsMinimum 3 years of experience in a store or stockroom role, preferably in construction, fabrication, or manufacturingFamiliar with tools and materials used in stone or worktop fabrication is a strong advantageAble to work independently and responsiblyComfortable with manual handling of items (within safe limits)Proficient in using Excel or simple inventory logsOrganised, trustworthy, and detail-orientedPreferred But Not RequiredExperience in setting up or improving manual stock control systemsFamiliarity with adhesives, abrasives, blades, and other materials related to fabrication and installationForklift license or experience operating store equipment is a bonus
