NAEEE focuses on delivering innovative solutions to meet the evolving needs of its international customers.OverviewWe are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Production Intern to join our manufacturing team.This internship provides industry knowledge of Energy and Power/Electrical busiess, Power Transmission and Distribution, and cable manufacturing, as well as hands-on experience in a dynamic production environment, offering valuable insights into manufacturing processes, assembly, and warehouse operations.The ideal candidate is eager to learn, possesses mechanical aptitude, and has an interest in developing skills related to electrical industrial equipment and tools.Responsibilities:Willing to hand on the workshop floor, learning equipment and production operationsAssist with assembly tasks using hand tools and power tools to support production linesLearn and operate machines under supervisionSupport machine maintananceSupport the maintenance and organization of the warehouse, ensuring safety and efficiencyParticipate in routine inspections of manufacturing equipment and report any issuesLearn Production schedule, and production planningHelp with inventory management and documentation of production activitiesCollaborate with team members to improve workflow processes and safety standardsGain exposure to mechanical systems and manufacturing techniques through guided trainingRequirementsCurrently enrolled in or recent graduate of a electrical, technical, mechanical, or manufacturing program preferredPrior manufacturer experience is a plus but not requiredBasic knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and assembly processesStrong electrical and mechanical knowledge and interest in manufacturing environmentsAbility to work safely around machinery and adhere to safety protocolsExcellent communication skills and a proactive attitude toward learningAbility to lift light to moderate loads and stand for extended periods during shifts
