One of our main clients based in Basel (Switzerland), a key player in the industry, is looking for a Production Planner to maintain and link production orders in the MES and manage batches regarding scheduling and additional information for the executing shift groups.Responsibilities:Inventory management and raw material requirements planning for monoclonal antibody productionAssess and correct inventory discrepancies in MES (Manufacturing Execution System)Trigger and manage orders for non-MES-controlled lab and consumable materials for the central warehouseManual material retrieval from logistics hubCo-responsible for coordination and detailed planning of production processes in MES production workflow planningLabel, maintain, release, and close production and maintenance ordersAdjust MES production templates as neededAssign, monitor, and update batch orders according to the production plan in PRAP (MES production workflow planning)Create, edit, and manage SAP demand-based batch and maintenance ordersAssist in creating and optimizing process flows and process instructions related to materials managementRequirements:Completed training as a chemical and pharmaceutical technologist or comparable technical training with further education, or a bachelor’s degree in biotechnology or a similar relevant field Good knowledge of biotechnological manufacturing processesStrong interface competence, communication skills, proactive approach, independent working style, and team spiritKnowledge of SAP, MES, and Google tools, as well as analytical and networked thinking Good German skills (spoken and written), English skills are an advantageKnowledge of OMP and S4/Hana is an advantageLocation: BaselDuration: Until September 2026 to start Start date: 01/01/2026Home office: 2 out of 5 days*While we appreciate every application, please note that due to the high volume of responses, we may only be able to contact shortlisted candidates.**Please note that we can only consider EU/Schengen applications
