Job Description
Qualifications & Experience- Doctorate (Entrepreneurship/ innovation or related field); exceptional candidates with a Master’s and extensive, directly relevant professional experience will be considered. Minimum 5 years of high-impact entrepreneurial practice (e.g., founding/leading start-ups or corporate ventures, investor/accelerator engagement, securing innovation/industry funding). Demonstrated success in launching and growing ventures and a strong network across the entrepreneurial ecosystem (industry, investors, incubators/accelerators). University teaching experience with a clear theory-to-practice approach (cases, live projects, venture labs). Emerging scholarly contributions (peer-reviewed publications and/or reputable conferences). Fluency in English and Arabic; excellent communication and collaboration skills. Relevant professional certifications welcomed.Essential Duties & Responsibilities Teach and develop practice-oriented courses in entrepreneurship/innovation (e.g., new venture creation, business models, entrepreneurial finance, venture growth). Experience in developing and/or leading Entrepreneurship & Innovation programs. Advise and coach student ventures; supervise student research and serve on undergraduate/graduate research committees. Build partnerships with industry, investors, and incubation/acceleration programs to expand internships, co-ops, and venture opportunities. Lead experiential learning initiatives (pitch competitions, hackathons, consulting/practicum projects) and contribute to market-aligned curriculum design. Contribute to departmental/college/university advancement and support funding acquisition where relevant. Pursue ongoing professional development and disseminate practice-informed scholarship. Contribute to measurable outcomes, including start-up launches, funded prototypes, signed partner MoUs, and student placements in incubators/accelerators.
