Check out our other great benefits at www.mcclureco.com/careers!Project Accountant Essential FunctionsContact customer at job start-up to determine billing, change order, and other accounting requirements.Monitor project costs and transfer costs (including labor, tools, etc.) between projects.Prepare monthly customer invoices, change order pricingWork closely with Project Manager to ensure that change order approvals are obtained.Maintain current contract value and revise estimated costs as necessary.Manage subcontracts, amendments, maintain current value, input invoices into Purchase Order Status and resolve any billing or contract discrepancies.Set-up and maintain labor estimates in labor tracking system.Work as a team with Project Managers to review job progress and produce forecasts during monthly Project Status Reviews.Work with customers regarding progress payments, final retain age and job close out.Other related duties may be assigned to meet business needs, including assisting with year-end audit requests and schedules.Other duties as assignedRequirementsBachelor's degree in accounting or related technical field, or equivalent work experience2+ years of construction accounting experienceProficient computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.Ability to work well independently as well as be part of a team.Good problem finding and solving skills.Flexibility and a willingness to learn.Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.Position is full-time Monday - Friday and is not a remote work position.McClure Company is an Equal opportunity employer.
