Job Description Position Title: E3D ADMINISTRATORReports To : E3D ADMINISTRATORPosition description – PurposeResponsible for the set-up of project databases, maintenance and users support for the E3D and Other engineering systems.Roles AccountabilitiesTechnical AbilitiesPossesses solid knowledge/experience (multiple years) of E3D project administration in the support of major projects (including support of a E3D user community with the various E3D modules and operating systems. Further exposure and experience with Oracle, C languages, PML, LISP and Visual Basic would be most desirable.Possesses E3D/REVIEW/Navisworks knowledge.Possesses broad onshore/offshore design experience with quality control/checking skills, and knowledge of fabrication techniques. Has knowledge of onshore/offshore oil and gas production facility design standards/specifications.Has ability to effectively interface with multiple communities, including process managers, engineering project managers, design engineers, designer/drafters, alliance consultants, vendors and other team leaders.Has hardware knowledge and proficiency with Microsoft products (Word, Excel & PowerPoint,).Has complete understanding of FEED/Detail design deliverables for Onshore/offshore projectsResponsibilityUnderstands the scope of each project and has the capability to create E3D project database structures that will enable the 3D design and subsequent creation of deliverables from the E3D project databases. This includes interfacing with other project Engineering databases (Oracle, Engineering Design Database, etc.) with the E3D databases.Coaches and trains local talent in E3D project administrationUpscales local talent in 3D model CAD designContributes to maintaining and updating the company 3D model specificationUpdates company 3D model to align with company 3D model specificationFollow/ensure Quality Management System Requirements are met in line with Company requirementsIs familiar with to Aveva’s E3D Global applicationCoordinates multi-discipline design expertise using E3D systems.Works closely with Drafting Coordinator, discipline Project Engineers, Project Management, Multi-discipline Engineers in the forecasting, scheduling of man-hours, cost, project construction deliverables, quality control, drawings, and overall project support.Recommends, designs and implements work process improvements.Is aware of industry leading technology trends and applications.Architects technology infrastructure to reduce cycle time and cost.Actively supports Lessons Learned feedback.
