Onsite Project Controls Manager: GeorgiaSpecific Duties Responsible for completing routine aspects of project control assignments with minimal oversight. Pre-Construction: Provide project controls support of new work proposal development. Periodic travel to jobsites as required to support pre-bid meetings. Periodic travel to meet with Customers during proposal development, bidding, and contract negotiations. Projects Under Execution General: Develop baseline cost and schedule project controls baselines utilizing industry recognized methodologies at the project bid phase; utilize during the execution phase. Evaluate project execution and impact of developing trends using prescribed methodologies to determine if project is proceeding within available resources and budget.Evaluate and raise project early warning signals to project manager or project lead. Document and assess the impact of project changes on cost/schedule baselines. Ensure compliance with internal procedures and contractual requirements. Use appropriate document management protocols to manage the storage and retrieval of project controls documentation. Cost: Develop project cashflow curves during bid phase; utilize during execution phase. Evaluate and update data regarding schedule dates, physical percent complete, resource requirements, subcontractor commitments and project accruals. Develop time-phased project cost and resource forecasts; validate project costs & updates requirements as required. Monitor progress of project deliverables and actual expenditures versus forecasts. Conduct financial analysis including variance, risk, and profit/loss analyses. Perform ad-hoc analyses and prepares ad-hoc financial reports. Schedule: Develop and document project planning considerations and objectives, scope, and milestones to incorporate into the schedule. Develop schedule activity logic ties, activity durations, and activity resource loading. Develop, maintain, and analyze integrated critical path schedules for major projects in accordance with contract specifications. Review schedule progress and productivity of resources. Evaluate and recommend resource realignments to maintain project execution. Re-baseline the project schedule as required. Reporting: Gather project progress information from project manager and project team members to update and monitor the project. Conduct performance reporting for major projects using Earned Value Management. Prepare customer and internal status reports to communicate project performance including, HSE, Quality, cost status, invoice/payment status, schedule, trends, and variances.
