Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in combined cycle power projects. In this contract role, you will oversee project execution from planning through commissioning, ensuring alignment with scope, schedule, and budget. You will lead cross-functional teams, coordinate with stakeholders, and ensure successful delivery of all phases of the project. This position will be based in Tucker, Georgia.Key ResponsibilitiesLead overall project planning, execution, and delivery for combined cycle power projects.Develop, monitor, and manage project schedules, budgets, and resources, ensuring alignment with project objectives.Coordinate with engineering, procurement, construction, and field teams to ensure seamless execution across all project phases.Identify risks, develop mitigation plans, and drive issue resolution to maintain project progress.Oversee contractor and vendor performance, ensuring compliance with contract requirements and safety standards.Provide clear communication and reporting to management, stakeholders, and client representatives.Ensure all work is executed in compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.Qualifications7+ years of experience managing large-scale capital projects, preferably in combined cycle power generation.Proven track record delivering combined cycle projects from design through commissioning.Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and reporting systems.Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills to manage cross-functional, geographically distributed teams.Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (preferred).PreferredProficiency with Primavera P6, MS Project, or similar scheduling tools.Experience with SAP, Maximo, or other asset/project management systems.PMP or equivalent project management certification.Prior experience working with EPC or utility contractors on large-scale energy projects.
