About The RoleAirport Development Group (ADG) is seeking an experienced Projects Cost Controller to join our Corporate Services team. This position plays a key role in providing accurate and reliable cost control for ADG’s capital projects, supporting confident decision-making and financial reporting across all stages of project delivery.Reporting to the Finance Business Partner – Assets, you’ll work closely with Project Managers, Finance, and senior stakeholders to monitor project expenditure, manage budgets and forecasts, and ensure financial discipline across ADG’s capital portfolio.Key Responsibilities IncludePartnering with Project Managers and Finance to provide accurate, timely financial information on all active projects.Developing, managing, and updating project budgets and forecasts, including contingency and capitalisation processes.Monitoring expenditure and commitments, analysing cost trends, and identifying potential risks or variances.Ensuring compliance with financial policies, delegations, and accounting standards.Raising and managing purchase orders, receipting, and invoice matching.Preparing monthly reports, KPIs, and project cost updates.Supporting internal and external audit processes and maintaining robust financial controls.About YouYou’re a proactive, detail-oriented finance professional who thrives in a project environment. You enjoy working collaboratively with cross-functional teams and have strong analytical and communication skills.To Be Successful, You’ll BringA tertiary qualification in Accounting or a related field.3+ years’ post-qualification experience, ideally within a large asset or capital project environment.Strong understanding of project cost control principles and financial systems.Excellent skills in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel) and practical experience using corporate ERP systems (TechnologyOne experience desirable).Eligibility to obtain an Aviation Security Identification Card (includes police record check).Why ADG?Airport Development Group owns and operates key infrastructure across the Northern Territory, including airports, commercial buildings, and hospitality assets.
