Project Engineer

The EXMAR Group is currently looking for a Project Engineer to reinforce the Technical team in Antwerp. More than 1400 seafaring crew and 250 shore-based staff daily join forces to provide our clients the best service and offer them innovative solutions. Together we make sure the world is supplied with gas which energizes both them and ourselves!Your role in the teamTo support the successful execution of projects by coordinating and reviewing engineering activities, ensuring technical quality, and delivering solutions on time and within budget. You cooperate together with the Technical Experts and report to the Project Manager. Your responsibilities and tasks include:Drive engineering studies: Plan, coordinate, and execute multi-disciplinary engineering analyses, gathering and interpreting technical data to support design decisions and project outcomes.Translate insights into clear documentation: Prepare comprehensive technical reports, study documentation, and presentations that effectively communicate findings to both internal stakeholders and external partners.Ensure quality and compliance: Review engineering deliverables, drawings, and calculations to verify alignment with standards, specifications and requirements.Collaborate to resolve challenges: Work closely with contractors and internal stakeholders to consolidate feedback, address discrepancies, and ensure solutions are fully aligned.Foster continuous improvement: Identify opportunities for enhancement by integrating lessons learned, operational feedback, and industry best practices to raise engineering standards in the execution of ongoing and future projects. Your profileBachelors’ or Masters’ degree of Science in Engineering;Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience in providing engineering support in maritime or offshore related projects;Experience in the construction or operation of offshore assets is considered a plus;Strong communication skills and ability to engage effectively with both internal and external stakeholders;Proven problem-solving skills in analysing complex situations, identifying solutions, and making informed decisions;Ability to work autonomously, managing tasks and taking ownership of outcomes;Fluent in written and spoken English.Our offerAt EXMAR you operate a very international, dynamic and, innovative environment.
