We're driven by our values - We Grow Together, We Keep Things Simple, We Get Stuff Done About the RoleWe currently have an opportunity for a Project Engineer to join our Group Engineering team at our Meadow Fresh dairy manufacturing site in Christchurch in supporting capital upgrade projects to increase UHT production.In order to achieve this, your key responsibilities will include:Maintain strict scope controls to protect the project capital cost and scheduling of KPIsProvide regular reports to stakeholders with written updates and site project meetingsSupport with procurement including tender, bid evaluation, pre-award and award, including contract management through supply, installation and commissionOversee Scope of Work, Technical Performance Specifications and cost estimationAbout YouIn order to make this role a success, we are looking for a qualified Project Engineer ideally with a few years' experience in delivering Capital, Industrial, or Automation projects.Specifically, some of the experiences and skillsets we are looking for include:An Engineering qualification (Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, Electrical, or Automation) is a must; a qualification in Project Management would be highly beneficialExperience with Project Organization, cost estimation and scheduling. Familiar with Scope of Work documents & Technical Performance specificationsHygienic design and Safety in Design during Installation and Commissioning experience would be highly advantageousExperience with AutoCAD for 2D layouts and P&IDsWhat we can offerYou will be joining a driven team of professionals who genuinely enjoy working together resulting in a highly collaborative and flexible work environment.
