Project Lead – Data Centre (12-Month Renewable Contract)Location: Netherlands (onsite with hybrid flexibility) Contract: 12 months, renewable Sector: Data Centre Construction / Mission Critical Consultancy Start Date: ASAPAbout the RoleWe are partnering with a leading consultancy specialising in mission-critical projects to recruit a skilled Project Lead for a major hyperscale data centre development in the Netherlands.As Project Lead, you’ll represent the consultancy in managing project delivery from design through to commissioning, ensuring alignment between the client, contractors, and all stakeholders. This is a key leadership position offering long-term prospects and exposure to one of Europe’s most significant data centre builds.Key ResponsibilitiesAct as the client’s representative, overseeing design, construction, and commissioning phasesManage stakeholder communication between the end client, design teams, and contractorsOversee project schedules, budgets, and risk management on behalf of the consultancyEnsure compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and quality benchmarksLead progress meetings and provide accurate reporting to senior leadership and the clientDrive best practice in project management, ensuring delivery excellence throughout all phasesRequirements5+ years’ experience in project management or leadership roles within data centre, industrial, or mission-critical sectorsPrevious experience working in a consultancy environment (client-side or project management consultancy)Strong technical understanding of MEP and CSA disciplinesExcellent communication, stakeholder management, and coordination skillsFamiliarity with Dutch construction practices and regulations is advantageousEU work eligibility and willingness to be based in the NetherlandsDegree-qualified in Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline
