Located in Montreal, Quebec, the Institute is the research arm of the McGill University Health Centre (MUHC) affiliated with the Faculty of Medicine at McGill University. The RI-MUHC is supported in part by the Fonds de recherche du Québec - Santé (FRQS).Position SummaryThe incumbent will be responsible for managing a portfolio of research projects and activities. This role is central to advancing the research program in digital health and rehabilitation health services. The duties range from grant preparation to study start-up and partner relations. The ideal candidate should be highly motivated and experienced in research.General Duties Prepare major grant applications, including for CIHR. Prepare and submit research ethics applications to the REB. Manage the start-up of new studies, including developing research protocols. Oversee the portfolio's external communications. Research and draft, in collaboration with others, write papers on topics related to the mission of the digital health and rehabilitation health services program. Develop, maintain, and strengthen relationships with international partners. Perform other research duties including working with researchers to specify setting of research goals, study design, and selection and development of procedures. Develop and oversee summer student and trainee programs. May provide functional supervision for personnel, as assigned. Perform administrative and other tasks, as assigned.
