AMPAM takes pride in delivering integrated solutions tailored to the needs of high-density housing markets, including senior, student, and affordable housing projects.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site Project Manager role based in the Los Angeles Metropolitan Area. The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing project execution from initial planning to final completion, ensuring projects meet timelines, budgets, and compliance standards. Key tasks include coordinating project schedules, managing logistics, conducting inspections, and leading cross-functional teams to deliver successful project outcomes. The role requires proactive problem-solving and effective communication with internal teams, clients, and stakeholders.Project LeadershipØ Lead planning, execution, monitoring, and closeout of assigned MEP projects.Ø Supervise Project Coordinators & Assistant Project Manager teams to achieve schedule, budget, and quality objectives.Ø Manage project scope, schedule, and budget, ensuring alignment with client requirements and company standards.Ø Conduct regular project meetings with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure clear communication and accountability.Financial & P&L ManagementØ Maintain project-level budgets, track costs, and ensure profitability targets are met.Ø Monitor cash flow, forecast financial performance, and implement corrective actions as needed.Ø Lead change order management, cost recovery, and margin improvement strategies.Client & Stakeholder ManagementØ Serve as primary contact for general contractors, architects, and engineers on assigned projects.Ø Build strong client relationships to ensure satisfaction, repeat business, and positive references.Ø Coordinate with Designers & Engineers and Purchasing Dept Team Development & LeadershipØ Mentor Project Coordinators, Assistant Project Managers and other team members.Ø Foster a culture of accountability, safety, and operational excellence.Ø Assist in recruiting and onboarding project staff as needed.Operational ExcellenceØ Ensure adherence to company policies, safety procedures, and regulatory compliance.Ø Implement project controls, quality assurance, and reporting standards.Ø Identify opportunities to improve project delivery processes and efficiencies.QualificationsØ 5–12 years of progressive experience managing MEP construction projects.Ø Demonstrated ability to manage medium-to-large project budgets ($5M–$50M+).Ø Proven track record of delivering projects on schedule and within budget.Ø Strong technical knowledge of MEP systems, construction methods, and building codes.Ø Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.Ø Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Procore, Bluebeam, Spectrum and/or other construction management software.
