Project Manager, Core Network

Job Summary:Responsible for end-to-end delivery of Core Network projectsThe role ensures all implementation activities are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in full compliance with technical and operational standards.Key Responsibilities:Should have hands on experience in Core Network end-to-end projects delivery.Lead Core Network project implementation from initiation to handover.Supervise installation, configuration, and integration of core systems and network equipment.Coordinate with planning, operations, and vendors to ensure project readiness and smooth execution.Validate site readiness, technical documentation, and test results before acceptance.Ensure quality, compliance, and zero service impact during migrations or cutovers.Maintain accurate implementation documentation and progress reports.Participate in change management, risk assessment, and post-implementation reviews.Form initial scope assessments, define work plans and roadmaps, and oversee groups executing implementation plans.Plan, lead, organize, and control multiple project initiatives by the approved scope and schedule.Serve as the first-line decision maker for the business including developing ramp-up plans and schedules that meet company requirements while also identifying risks and developing mitigation plans.Provide day-to-day direction to cross-functional implementation pods/support teams and best practices on deploying the project within their environment.Ensure a smooth transition to operations post-go-live.Requirements:Bachelor’s Degree in Telecommunications, Electrical, Electronics, or Computer Engineering.3-5 years of experience in Core Network Project Delivery.Vendor or technology certifications (e.g., Cisco, Nokia, Huawei, Juniper) preferred.PMP Certification.
