Project Manager (Design Studios - Presentation Design) – JapanLocation: Tokyo, JapanLanguage Requirement: Proficient in Japanese + Fluent EnglishABOUT THE ROLEWe are seeking an experienced Project Manager to support a global consulting firm widely recognized for partnering with leaders across business and society. The selected candidate will work onsite in Tokyo and play a key role in managing design-driven initiatives with a strong emphasis on presentation design, alongside broader creative work, within the firm’s Design Studios network.This role requires a strategic thinker with the ability to blend design, business understanding, technical knowledge, and strong people leadership to deliver high-quality, tailored solutions. You will collaborate with international teams, manage multiple concurrent projects, and help shape the creative vision for new experiences across presentation design, print, digital, and video. This is an urgent requirement.Key ResponsibilitiesAct as a strategic partner by connecting design, technology, and business priorities to deliver impactful solutions, with a particular focus on presentation design excellence.Manage incoming project requests using the Design Studios’ project management system.Oversee and prioritize multiple simultaneous projects—especially those related to presentation design, ensuring timelines, quality standards, and stakeholder expectations are met.Lead cross-functional and international teams, working closely with designers, creative specialists, and global colleagues.Establish project frameworks, define scope, set execution plans, and guide teams toward developing world-class design outcomes across presentations, print, digital, and video.Serve as a communication bridge between Japan-based stakeholders and international teams to ensure alignment and smooth project delivery.Monitor progress, mitigate risks, and provide regular updates to internal and external stakeholders.Qualifications & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Project Management, Marketing, or a related field.6–8 years of experience in professional services, design studios, creative agencies, or design-led start-ups.Proven experience managing presentation design, design, creative, or multimedia projects end-to-end.Strong expertise in project management tools and methodologies.Broad understanding across presentation design, print, digital, and video design landscapes.LanguageNative Japanese, with excellent proficiency in English (mandatory).Korean language skills are a plus.Ability to collaborate with multicultural teams and work effectively in fast-paced environments.Why This Role?Opportunity to work with a top-tier global consulting firm.Exposure to cutting-edge creative and presentation design transformation projects.Collaborate closely with international teams and creative leaders.Competitive budget based on market benchmarks.Onsite role in Tokyo, ensuring high visibility and strong stakeholder impact.
