You will work alongside a hard-working construction team to ensure efficient and effective delivery of projects within your portfolio. Reporting to the Construction Manager your day to day will include the following: Providing leadership and management to your direct reports to achieve targetsPromoting a Zero Harm environment, ensuring H & S policies and procedures are followedOverseeing the allocation of people, plant, technology and resources to achieve outcomesDevelop and improve systems and processesAssist in development and implementation of procurement strategies Nga pūkenga matua | Important Skills Project and/or Contract Management experience in Civil EngineeringStrategic thinking and an ability to problem solve and implement initiativesA proven track record developing a culture that supports business excellenceHigh levels of emotional intelligence and the ability to get the best out of your teamStrong relationship management skills with internal and external stakeholdersRelevant tertiary qualification is beneficial but not necessary Ko wai mātou | Our Organisation Want to know more about what it is like to work at Downer?
