And that’s where you come in.Paço de Arcos, Portugal (On-Site)Job DescriptionProject Management, including:Project InitializationProject Start Up ActivitiesProject Initialise workProject Requirements baseliningEstablish or update the project baselineProject Launch Review (Baseline Review)Formalise the composition and the appointment of the project team and of people in the contributing departmentsValidate the PMP and associated documents (WBS, OBS, schedule, budget allocations, etc.)Confirm Project Category and associated controlsEstablish the status of the make/buy decisionsValidate the Industrial scenarioConfirm and validate the contributions of departments, partners, subcontractors and suppliers against the requirements conformity matrix, performance, cost and scheduleValidate the estimated financial position at completion, as a reference for the contractApprove the Risk and Opportunity Register including the plans for handling the risks, drawn up in accordance with the “Risk and Opportunity Management” procedure. Prepare the Integrated Baseline Review (IBR) if requested by the Customer in the contract. Project Execution, monitoring and controllingStart the project work packagesControl the project and manage risks and opportunitiesControl requirements, costs and scheduleManage Project AcquisitionManage Project Quality AssuranceManage relations with the CustomerManagement of legal and contractual requirements including handling disputesProject reviews and phase reviewsProgress reporting and progress review meetingsPresentation of the deliverables to the customer for acceptance ReviewDelivery and invoicing of project deliverablesCapture of Project Lesson LearntProject Closure reviewTechnical & Professional SkillsCore Project Management knowledge and skillsApplication of resource management, project planning and management methodsUnderstanding of project lifecycle, from requirements to preliminary and detailed design phases, development, integration, verification and validation, down to test and commissioning and acceptance of a railway solution (Signalling and Telecommunications)Good knowledge of railway industry organisation structures, standards, workflows, operating procedures and terminology Multicultural environment teamwork experience Team management skills and team motivation skills Strong leadership qualitiesStrong organisational skills, detail oriented and the ability to handle multiple prioritiesGood communication skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and work productively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environmentGood problem solving skills with experience of developing & implementing customer focused solutions and resolving high level operational challenges Experience in managing senior staffEnglish and French (recommended) communication skillsEducation And QualificationsElectrotechnical Engineer DegreeMember of the Portuguese Engineering Association (“Ordem dos Engenheiros” or “Ordem dos Engenheiros Técnicos)Experience in business of ground transportation project management (recommended)IPMA level C certification or above (recommended).
