Technical Program Manager

About the RoleWe’re looking for a Technical Program Manager (TPM) with a strong background in cloud architecture, software delivery, and Java-based systems to lead complex fintech programs.In this role, you’ll drive the design, implementation, and delivery of large-scale payment and digital wallet platforms, collaborating with cross-functional teams to build secure, scalable, and reliable financial solutions.What You’ll DoLead end-to-end delivery of fintech solutions — from architecture design and planning to go-live and operations.Manage cloud migration and modernization projects across AWS, Azure, or GCP environments.Architect and oversee Java-based microservices for multi-tenant, high-performance systems.Coordinate with engineering, product, and operations teams to align technology and business objectives.Run Agile ceremonies and ensure projects meet scope, quality, and timeline goals.Handle stakeholder communication, including technical workshops and executive briefings with clients.Mentor engineers and architects, fostering a culture of innovation and accountability.What You’ll BringBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.10+ years of experience in software development, cloud solutions, and technical program management.Strong Java programming experience (hands-on understanding of APIs, microservices, and integrations).Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation).Proven track record in fintech or digital payments, with experience integrating APIs, banking systems, or gateways.Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and tools such as Jira and Confluence.Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.Certifications in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud and/or SAFe Agile are a plus.Why Join UsBe part of a global fintech innovation team shaping the future of digital payments.Hybrid work model — collaborate from our Lisbon office 2–3 days a week.Competitive salary and continuous professional development support.Opportunity to lead impactful transformation projects across markets.
