This role bridges field operations and office coordination — managing procurement, change orders, schedules, and field documentation to ensure seamless project delivery.The PM II acts as the central communication point between the project management team, field operations, and trade partners, ensuring all milestones are met on time, within scope, and to Ideal Building Solutions’ standards for safety, quality, and performance.Project Execution & CoordinationManage day-to-day project operations, ensuring alignment with PM I’s strategic planLead daily communication with Superintendents and field teamsOversee PO execution and tracking (materials, equipment, and sheet metal)Ensure project documentation, submittals, and shop drawings are reviewed and understoodCommunicate all material, equipment, and sheet metal needs to the PM III for timely processingApprove Purchase Orders (POs) created by PM III and provide guidance as neededSchedule and coordinate:Project Kickoff MeetingsIBS “Crush” Meetings (cross-departmental coordination)Trade Partner Handoff Meetings with IBS SuperintendentsProcurement & Contract ManagementAssist in trade partner selection and ensure alignment with project scope and expectationsOversee contract execution, with PM III assisting in drafting under PM I and PM II directionApprove sheet metal fabrication orders and ensure timely procurement to meet milestonesSupport the tracking and management of alternates and project budgetsChange Orders & Cost ControlResponsible for reviewing and approving Change Orders (COs) created by PM IIICommunicate all project-related COs to the General Contractor (GC); PM I will issue final COsMaintain accurate budget tracking and cost control, ensuring alignment with project forecastsParticipate in budget and drawing/specification reviews alongside PM IQuality & Field OversightConduct Quality Control inspections with PM III and the SuperintendentEnsure coordination between field teams and the project management group to maintain workmanship and safety standardsParticipate in on-site project meetings; PM II serves as backup for PM I in off-site meetings and attends virtually when requiredPerformance ExpectationsExecute procurement, scheduling, and documentation tasks with precision and timelinessMaintain proactive communication across all stakeholders (GC, vendors, internal teams)Support PM I in strategic decision-making and resolve field conflicts quickly and effectivelyMeet all internal deadlines for change orders, milestone tracking, and budget reviewsDemonstrate consistent accountability, organization, and teamwork across all assigned projectsSalary:$70,000 - $90,000 Benefits:Weekly PaychecksPaid vacation and holidaysExtra Holidays Paid: New Years Eve, Christmas Eve, and Friday after Thanksgiving401K Plan with Company MatchGenerous Referral Bonus ProgramWork / Home Life BalanceIndustry Leading safe working conditionsOngoing safety training and performance enhancementHealth and Insurance Benefits50% paid by CompanyHealth Insurance with Multiple Tiers to Choose FromEmployee, Employee Spouse, Employee Children, Employee Family OptionsCost Competitive Rate paid by EmployeeVision InsuranceLife InsuranceShort Term DisabilityLong Term DisabilityAccidental InsuranceOpportunity to grow with a company that values you and is here to invest in your personal growthEducation And Experience Requirements:5+ Years of Work Experience in the Commercial Roofing industryFamiliar with Details and Requirements related to the installation of the following roof systems:PVC, TPO, Modified Bitumen, and Asphalt ShinglesBi-Lingual is a plusPosition Type/Expected Hours of WorkThis is a full-time position.Hours: Must be flexibleTravelTravel is expected for this position.Other DutiesPlease note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
