Are you ready to take on the challenge to help us build the future?ResponsibilitiesManages the activities of one or more moderate to large, short to mid-term projects with responsibility for results in terms of costs, methods and outcomesExercises considerable latitude and judgement in developing plans, budgets, and resources, directing activities and actions, and determining deliverableDecides appropriate methods, procedures for new projects with significant independenceEngages with all levels of management and acts as a key consultant for both functional and business issuesFacilitates project execution, administration, correspondence, and flow of information/dataAnalyzes and determines regulatory impacts and requirements of the projectIdentifies deviations in the project plan, identifies issues and leads the efforts to bring to resolution without compromising the original project goals, budget and timing; Ensures project parameters meet the agreed-upon needs and expectationsForecasts project resources, materials and contracts costs within standard tools; Analyzes policies and procedures and provides next step recommendations as neededAssesses project risk and develops contingency plans, identifies and communicates lessons learned and best practices; Follows effective project governance and reporting, in-line with SCE's project management standards in order to steward ongoing assigned projectsMaintains progress reports, conducts change impact assessments, and uses project management tools; Maintains a system to measure the effectiveness of the project development processA material job duty of all positions within the Company is ensuring the protection of all its physical, financial and cybersecurity assets, and properly accessing and managing private customer data, proprietary information, confidential medical records, and other types of highly sensitive information and data with the highest standards of conduct and integrity.Minimum QualificationsSeven or more years of experience in project management.Preferred QualificationsA bachelor's degree in business, economics, marketing, information technology, or related fieldExperience identifying business needs and developing business requirements for systems and processesExperience with customer-facing activities, projects or processes that directly impact customer satisfactionFamiliarity with regulatory or compliance driven environmentsKnowledge of customer rate design, pricing programs, or energy related topicsExperience using results from data and metrics to inform project design and featuresExperience in responding to regulatory requests in writing, i.e. data requestsA track record working across teams to drive alignment and deliver resultsStrong communication skills and the ability to influence internally and externally, both verbally and in writingAdditional InformationThis position's work mode is hybrid. The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days.  Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to work and reside in the state of California.  Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage.
