Project Manager / SCRUM Master 12 Month Contract (Cape Town)

We’re seeking an experienced Project Manager / Scrum Master to lead complex delivery initiatives within a fast-paced telecommunications environment. The ideal candidate will bring strong end-to-end project management capability, proven Agile delivery experience, and the ability to work across cross-functional technical and business teams.Key ResponsibilitiesManage the full project lifecycle — from initiation and planning through execution, delivery, and closure.Facilitate Agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, backlog grooming, etc.) to ensure transparency and delivery cadence.Drive alignment between business stakeholders, solution architects, developers, and operations teams.Develop and maintain project plans, RAID logs, and stakeholder reports.Monitor project performance, budgets, and timelines; proactively address delivery risks and issues.Support and mentor team members in Agile best practices and continuous improvement.Coordinate vendor and third-party engagements to ensure timely delivery and integration of deliverables.Communicate clearly and confidently with executives, business sponsors, and technical teams.Required Experience & QualificationsMinimum 6 years of progressive experience in Project Management and Agile / Scrum delivery.Prior experience in the telecommunications industry (mobile, fixed, network, or digital services) highly advantageous.Proven success in managing multi-disciplinary technology or transformation projects.Strong understanding of software delivery lifecycles (SDLC, Agile, and DevOps principles).Exceptional communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.Relevant tertiary qualification in Project Management, Information Technology, or Business.Professional certifications such as PMP, Prince2, PMI-ACP, or Certified Scrum Master (CSM) are preferred.Contract DetailsType: 12-month fixed-term contract (with potential renewal)Start Date: As soon as possibleRemuneration: Market-related, based on experience
