Our mission is to drive technology adoption and financial inclusion by empowering African businesses with smarter logistics and digital tools.Yoris Africa provides free “Mini-Apps” to businesses in exchange for affordable delivery and logistics solutions, helping them grow faster in an increasingly digital world.Position: Project Manager (Full Stack Focus)Compensation: ₦200,000/monthLocation: Lagos, Nigeria — must be based on the Island Type: Full-time | Startup EnvironmentRole DescriptionWe are seeking a Project Manager with strong experience in both frontend and backend development to oversee our technical projects and lead teams toward successful product launches.The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment. You’ll coordinate between design, development, and operations to ensure projects are completed efficiently and align with Yoris Africa’s mission.Core ResponsibilitiesPlan, coordinate, and oversee the end-to-end execution of software development projects.Manage cross-functional teams working with React, React Native, Node.js, Golang, MongoDB, and AWS.Bridge communication between product, design, and engineering teams to ensure seamless workflow.Use Agile methodologies and tools like Jira, Trello, Asana, or ClickUp to manage sprints and deliverables.Monitor project timelines, resolve bottlenecks, and ensure high-quality output.Identify risks early and create mitigation strategies to keep projects on schedule.Oversee successful product deployment on the App Store and Google Play.Qualifications & Skills3–4+ years of project management experience in a software or tech environment.Strong technical background in frontend and backend languages (React, React Native, Node.js, Golang, MongoDB, AWS).Proven record of at least two successfully launched apps on the App Store and Play Store.Deep understanding of Agile development, Scrum, and modern project management tools.Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.Must be based in Lagos and reside on the Island for team coordination and meetings.Passionate about technology, digital inclusion, and Africa’s tech growth story.Why Join Yoris AfricaBe part of a bold mission to digitally connect Africa.Collaborate with a dynamic, cross-border team building next-generation tools for African businesses.Gain hands-on experience in scalable product development and real-world impact.Join a startup that values creativity, ownership, and long-term growth.
