We have entered new markets as many countries are looking for Danish solutions to help them on their way to a green energy transition, driven by national and international project developers ranging from farmers to large energy groups.Your new roleAs an important part of our small but growing Procurement & Contract Management team, you will work closely with our Project and Service Departments and collaborate with Project Managers, Service Engineers, Legal, and external suppliers to ensure the successful delivery of our projects.You will play a key role in managing procurement activities across the full project lifecycle—from sourcing and evaluating suppliers to negotiating contracts and ensuring compliance with our commercial and risk frameworks.Key ResponsibilitiesLead procurement processes for equipment, services, and subcontractors across multiple projects.Lead the preparing and evaluating RFQs, bids, and supplier proposals.Negotiate and finalize procurement contracts, ensuring alignment with project scope, timelines, and budget.Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Project Managers, Service Engineers, Legal, and Finance) to ensure procurement strategies meet project and company objectives.Build and maintain strategic relationships with key suppliers in Europe and the USA to ensure reliability, innovation, and cost-effectivenessMonitor supplier performance and manage relationships to ensure quality, delivery, and compliance.Maintain procurement documentation and contribute to continuous improvement of procurement templates and processes.Identify and mitigate procurement-related risks and opportunities.Support the creation and maintenance of a cost model that integrates procurement data to enable sales teams to quote accurately, assess profitability, and simulate pricing scenarios.Ensure adherence to Ammongas’ internal procurement policies and commercial standards. Job prerequisitesA degree in Supply Chain Management, Commercial Law, Engineering, or similar.4-7 years of experience in procurement within the energy, engineering, or construction sectors - ideally in biogas or renewable energy.Strong negotiation skills and a track record of managing supplier relationships.Commercially minded with a structured and detail-oriented approach.Proactive and capable of managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.Comfortable working with cross-functional teams and advising on procurement matters.High level of integrity, professionalism, and interpersonal skills.Fluent in English (spoken and written); Danish is a plus.With us you getTo be part of a rapidly growing company at the core of the green transition.The possibility to work in an entrepreneurial environment where gaining hands-on experience is encouraged, while at the same time, new ideas and proactivity are valued.To be part of a company where colleagues have respect for each other, their time, and their ideas.Ample possibilities to engage socially across the departments.
