As a leading Department of Defense contractor, our dedication to excellence has made us one of the most respected electronic manufacturers in the industry.The Property & Asset Manager is a detail-oriented and compliance-driven professional that manages government, customer, and company owned inventory, fixed assets, and material within a manufacturing environment. The incumbent ensures regulatory compliance, accurate financial reporting, and cross-functional collaboration across departments such as finance, supply chain, program management and operations.Position Responsibilities Maintain compliance with FAR 52.245-1/DFARS 252.245-7003, GAAP, and internal control standards Maintain the Company's Certified Government Property Management System; ensure timely update of system and the government's GFP Module and IUID Registry systems Maintain secure user accounts and monitor various customer portals for contract documents Facilitate receipt, catalog, and storage of government and customer furnished equipment (GFE and CFE) Manage documentation and track customer-owned material and property in compliance with government regulations Dispose of GFE and CFE in accordance with contractual requirements Collaborate with internal departments to facilitate government, customer and external audits and reporting Manage inventory, cost, and fixed asset accounting processes for company property. Manage the capital expenditure (CAPEX) process Support monthly close process and maintain general ledger accuracy; prepare journal entries as required Coordinate annual physical inventories of all government, customer and company property Provide input data and analysis for annual budget and strategic forecasting process Ensure accuracy in asset tracking, valuation, and financial documentation Monitor and report on property operations metrics and cost-saving opportunities Utilize ERP and property management systems for data integrity and reporting Propose revisions and continuous improvement ideasSkills & Abilities Knowledge of inventory costing methods (FIFO, LIFO, weighted average) General knowledge of GAAP Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities and able to work with large sets of data in Excel Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities at the same time Excellent attention to detail and quality of work Excellent interpersonal skills including strong verbal and written communication abilities Ability to exercise discretion and sound judgementQualifications Bachelor's degree or 3-5 years of experience in a related field Experience in inventory and fixed asset accounting a plus Background in asset management, logistics, and material/equipment control a plus Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance (current clearance preferred) NPMA certification is a plus (requirement to obtain within 90 days of hire) U.S. Citizenship requiredWork Environment Office Environment: Requires physical capability to work in an office environment including sit/stand up to 9 hours a day and use basic office tools such as a computer, copier/printer, etc. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
